Fund Raising EventIn Support Of The Isabella Ramsbottom Fundraising Appeal

Isabella’s parents have struggled having to raise over £21.000 per year to fund specialist education for their daughter at Pace School in Sheffield and this is why the South Yorkshire Police are throwing an Autumn Ball in order to help care for this brave young girl.

Isabella has a multitude of health problems and the bottom line is that without this type of education, she is unlikely to ever walk, talk or develop to any level of normality.

The Police at Barnsley have a night filled with entertainment to raise as much money for Isabella as possible.
Not only do they have live music from 'The Manhattans', a 3-course meal and also a raffle with donations from Local Businesses throughout Barnsley.

The ball is on the 17th October 2008 at the Ardsley House Hotel. Includes:
A 4 course meal, the Manhattans and a raffle-auction etc.

All enquiries re: tickets to Sheena Lyden at Barnsley Police Station.  (ex 6214)

All proceeds made at this event will go towards the Isabella Ivy Ramsbottom Fundraising Appeal.

More About Isabella

Isabellas parents are constantly battling with the almost impossible task of raising around £21,000 per year to fund "conductive education" for their 3 year old daughter, Isabella. The bottom line is that without this, she's unlikely to improve and develop to any level of normality. They are also faced with the rejection of Barnsley Council Funding, who deem that "it would not be an effective use of LA resources". Instead, their proposal is for Isabella to attend Greenacre School in Barnsley.

Her Parents have said that "whilst we acknowledge that Greenacre is an excellent school, every child is different and must be assessed according to their needs, like all parents, we simply want the best for our daughter and we should be allowed to make a choice". "This should be based on professional opinions and more importantly, what Isabella responds to". This should not be a financial decision.

They strive each year with public support, to raise the necessary funding to send her to "Paces" which is located in Sheffield. The school is world renowned and families from all over the world (including the States) move to the UK to send their kids there.
