Detectives investigating the alleged murder of a polish woman in Swinton have released video footage of the last time she was seen alive.

Agnieszka Dziegielewska, 30, was found dead at her home address on Horsefair Close off Temperance Street, Swinton, last Thursday, 28 January 2010.

The video footage shows Agnieszka waiting at a bus shelter around 6.10pm last Wednesday, 27 January, outside the Maple Leaf bakery where she worked.

Detective Superintendent Colin Fisher, the Senior Investigating Officer leading the case, said: "Following my appeal for information at the weekend, I now want to trace Agnieszka’s movements between the time of the video footage, 6.10pm on Wednesday, 27 January, to when she was found dead at her home address on Horsefair Close at 7.35pm the following day, Thursday, 28 January.

"We are also keen for information regarding the whereabouts of her car, the red VW Golf, registration W991 OSP, between the time of the video footage and 10pm on Saturday, 30 January, when the car was recovered on Grove Close in West Melton."

The 32-year-old Mexborough man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody assisting police with enquiries. Another man, a 31-year-old from Doncaster, is still on bail after his arrest, also on suspicion of murder.

Anyone with information is urged to call the investigation team on 01709 832690.
