Police have now identified the man found dead in a derelict building in Marr, Doncaster, on Saturday, 23 January 2010, as 59-year-old Raymond Atkinson.

Raymond, who lived in the Oakwell area of Barnsley, was reported missing in January 2009.

He was discovered within a disused petrol station on Barnsley Road by a man out walking his dog at about 10pm on 23 January 2010.

Police are not treating Raymond's death as suspicious.

Raymond Atkinson's family is deeply upset by the news of his death and ask the media to respect their privacy at this very difficult time.
