wishbone-ashFor all you dads, granddads, mums and grandmas who love to rock to some great music, then here's a chance to see one of the UK's most innovative and inspiring bands with over 40 years experience as a professional recording and touring outfit.

But listen, it's not just about the senior hell raising fans hitting the town for a memorable night out, take the sons and daughters and their kids too, as Wishbone Ash are definitely worth an evening out when they hit your area on their upcoming tour of the UK starting April 2010.

The classic rock band, still fronted by founder member and Gibson Flying V pioneer Andy Powell, is set to release their new Single titled "Reason to Believe" which will be heavily promoted on the upcoming dates and is the first single released by the band since 1989. Watch out for this one when it hits the stores and internet commerce sites.

The band are notoriously famous for their harmonizing  twin lead guitar solos which marked the trend of the new sound of classic rock when it was first heard hitting the airwaves way back in the early seventies when popular music seemed set to dominate the music scene forever.

Still coveted today by thousands of guitarists worldwide, their unique double lead reputable trademark has remained strong all over the world due to the persistence and dedication of the only founder member of the band to remain faithful to the cause since forming in 1970; aka, the world acclaimed guitarist and singer songwriter Andy Powell.

There are rumors of another long past member of the early seventies group now trying to compete with Wishbone Ash in another clone version of the band prefixed with the obligatory former member's name, having a display akin to "Uncle Tom Cobbley's Wishbone Ash".... which for any serious fan of true standing and following of the genuine article, is probably not going to be confused for Wishbone Ash.

So mark this down, there is only one serious bona fide version called Wishbone Ash which has stood the test of time, never waning in deliverance and quality of performance in tours and recordings; it stands as testimony to genuine endurance and is truly the only troupe which can be seen to mark the anniversary of a fully fledged 40 years dedicated to musically performing the benchmarked dual lead guitar harmonizing standard.

And again, under the true leadership of founding member Andy Powell, 2010 will again see Wishbone Ash on the road around the world including their regular UK tour in April to promote "Reason to Believe". You can follow the band's every move via the genuine Wishbone Ash website, www.wishboneash.com, but what's more exciting, is that you can catch the band live in the UK at any of the following dates:
