Do you enjoy reading poetry and wish you could share your views on verse with other like-minded people?

Barnsley Libraries may have the answer with their proposed poetry readers group.

The group would meet at Barnsley’s Central Library on a monthly basis to discuss poems old and new, recommend old favourites and discover new poets.

Libraries throughout Barnsley host Readers Groups who meet regularly to discuss books and authors, but this would be the first one to concentrate solely on poetry.
