Charities seeking a great deal on new furniture need look no further. For Richmondshire District Council has a supply of second had office equipment in need of new homes.

Desks, chairs and cabinets are available as a result of the authority’s move out of Springwell House in the town centre.   The council has re-used as much furniture as possible with what is left now up for grabs by local charities.
Charities interested should contact Head of Democratic Services, Michael Dowson on 01748 827088.

The council has moved out of Springwell House - the lease was due for renewal so the opportunity to re-assess accommodation needs was taken. Officers previously based in the building have been relocated to other accommodation.
